Hariphil Resources Incorporated (HARI) has introduced the latest body application for the Hyundai HD45 GT light truck. According to a statement by Hyundai commercial vehicles' local arm, the new multi-purpose vehicle, the Hyundai HD45 GT Shuttle, incorporates the brand's patented engineering layout to prioritize driver-friendliness, safety, reliability, and fuel efficiency. This new variant provides more options for buyers in the market for a rugged and flexible people carrier.
Designed to be compact, the HD45 GT Shuttle offers effortless maneuverability while providing ample space inside. With two wheelbase variants available—a 14 to 15 ft deck length for the medium wheelbase (MWB) and a 16 to 18 ft deck length for the long wheelbase (LWB) variant. With an overall cab length of 6,401 mm and a height of 2,124 mm, the Hyundai HD45 GT Shuttle comfortably accommodates 26 passengers plus the driver, making it an ideal option for employee transportation. Its side entrance design ensures convenient boarding and alighting for passengers.
Powering the HD45 GT is a D4CC Euro 4 engine, an engine it shares with the slightly larger HD78 GT. This turbodiesel engine generates an impressive 158 hp and 392 Nm of torque. Combined with its small size, the engine and body combo makes for a potent hauler. In addition, there’s no need to worry about the truck ban since the truck has a GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) of approximately 4.49 tons, exempting from the truck ban. This means this shuttle truck can travel unrestricted at any time of the day, anywhere it is needed.
The Hyundai HD45 GT comes with a basic warranty, which may vary depending on the coach builder or manufacturer. Additionally, it is covered by the Hyundai three-year or 200,000km cab and chassis warranty. Buyers can check out the vehicle firsthand at their nearest Hyundai Truck and Bus dealership across the Philippines.
