Sometimes, helping means handing over the keys, and that’s exactly what FUSO did for the Red Cross Iloilo. On March 29, 2025, FUSO Iloilo donated a brand-new Canter Commute Modern PUV to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Iloilo Chapter.
The handover took place during the 50th anniversary of Avescor Motors, Inc. (AMI), through its dealership arm MNV Auto Group, Inc. The donation is a part of their way of giving back and supporting community needs. The Canter Commute Modern PUV is expected to help the Red Cross team carry medical supplies, respond to emergencies, and reach more areas during disaster response. It’s a dependable vehicle for moving people and goods in times when fast action matters most.
FUSO Philippines, along with MVI and AMI, said they share the Red Cross's mission of helping more people. Their support is focused on providing practical transport options for important work like health services and relief. The Red Cross Iloilo Chapter thanked AMI and MNV for the donation. With the new PUV, they will now be able to improve their reach, especially in remote areas that need help during disasters.
