A few months after the grand opening of a new spare parts depot in Davao, Foton Motor Philippines Inc (FMPI) is once again raising the standards for commercial vehicle ownership in aftersales services. This recent milestone was marked by the signing ceremony for the soon-to-rise Cebu Parts Distribution Hub.
The extensive parts warehouse is the result of a strategic collaboration between FMPI, logistics and supply chain management experts FastEasy, and Foton International. The signing event brought together key figures from the three organizations, including Foton Motor Philippines General Manager Levy Santos, Foton International's Parts Manager Duke Han, and Gratour Sales Manager Kevin Wang. FastEasy's CEO Bin Du, Corporate Secretary/Director Ma. Rosario Armamento and Warehouse Director Rexell Reyes were also present to commemorate this significant partnership.
Expressing his excitement for the partnership, FMPI General Manager Levy Santos said, “We are thrilled to embark on another highly strategic partnership with two stalwart companies in the mobility and logistics industries, FastEasy and Foton International. With our Cebu Parts Distribution Hub, Foton will be able to offer even more efficient aftersales support to all its customers in the southern region by reducing delivery lead time of spare parts.”
Pointing out the need for readily available parts in a logistics operation, Santos added: “Having a continuously mobile fleet is very crucial to logistics operations, so if you’ve ever had to wait long for spare parts by other brands before, we try to make sure that you don’t repeat that experience with Foton.”
According to Mike Sta. Maria, who serves as the Vice President for Parts at FMPI, the inauguration of the spare parts warehouse in Cebu represents a pivotal step in the company's broader strategy to extend its spare parts distribution network across the Philippines.
“Following our continuous quest for customer satisfaction, Foton Motor Philippines Inc. has invested to put up a spare parts warehouse hub in Cebu City, in partnership with Foton International and FastEasy. The primary objective of this initiative is to expand FOTON’s spare parts channels in the Philippines”
Once the Cebu Parts Distribution Hub is operational, Foton’s customers can expect much faster turnaround times for their vehicles in repair centers, quicker delivery times for parts, and most importantly, less expensive shipping fees.
