Fuso Philippines under Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP), recently conducted a successful showcase of its modern PUVs in one of the southern-most cities in Mindanao, General Santos City.
The Canter Express was displayed in the General Santos Commercial Vehicle Show (CVS) in partnership with the National Federation of Transport Cooperative. The event was held at Venue 88, Hotel and Events Place from October 29 to October 30, 2021.
The region is home to the largest tuna fish ports and processing facilities in the country, and it’s continually grown thanks to a good volume of major economic infrastructure support facilities that can compare internationally. It is with that level of commercial activity that Fuso Philippines finds itself at the right place at the right time to promote its products and services.
However, this isn’t the first time that Fuso’s showcased the Canter PUVs in the Commercial Vehicle Show. Last July 2021, the brand featured its products in the Cebu CVS last July 2021. The company wanted to discuss the implementation of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) across the Philippines, in a bid to improve the quality and safety of mass transportation.
“Alam ko pong may sarili tayong challenges sa ating transport sector, at handa po akong tumulong maghanap ng solusyon para maayos nating maisagawa and PUV modernization dito.”
SFP is partnered with Mindanao Integrated Commercial Enterprises, Inc. (MICEI), and together, they exhibited the Fuso Canter Express, a nameplate known for its proven quality, durability, and strong performance.
Of course, this isn’t Fuso’s only product. The company has been selling commercial vehicles for quite some time now, and the Canter Express is only one of their iconic models that see use throughout the country. Variations of the Canter is used in all sorts of industries, and is one very reliable platform.
