The iconic Hyundai County mini bus is sporting a fresh new face and new features this 2023. Just this Tuesday, Hariphil Asia Resources the official distributor of Hyundai commercial vehicles revealed the features and upgrades that will come with the new County New Breeze minibus.
The County New Breeze features a redesigned front fascia. The front headlamps are fitted with LED positioning lamps and projector-type fog lamps for better road visibility. The lamp housing bears a new design, Hariphil says that the new square design is inspired by the golden ratio. The headlamps also feature a smooth horizontal bezel that allows it to blend seamlessly with the radiator grille. Completing the look is a delicate surface treatment which according to Hariphil adds crispness and composure to the County New Breeze.
Moving to the back, the rear of the County New Breeze is flanked by vertical combination taillamps which come with rear fog lamps for added visibility. In the middle is a rear cargo flap that can be popped open for easy loading and access to luggage.
Inside the County New Breeze is a redesigned interior which Hariphil say is relaxing and spacious. The seats are upholstered with modern PVC material, which is hard-wearing and can endure the strain of continuous long journeys. The bus features a digital climate control with simple, minimalistic dials that control and monitors the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system status.
The minibus also features a redesigned crash pad, a new instrument cluster, and a new tilt-adjustable telescopic four-spoke steering wheel featuring button controls. Displaying vital information such as odometer readings, trip data, and other vehicle functions is a 3.5-inch Supervision LCD cluster that provides digital precision and clarity.
Drivers have access to the vehicle’s audio system equipped with a radio, CD player, TV, driver speaker, aux input, USB, and a hand microphone enabling easier communication with the passengers.
The County New Breeze is equipped with additional safety features to improve vehicle stability and provide drivers with additional confidence behind the wheel. Up front, the bus is equipped with dual front airbags designed in the latest depowered type mechanism that minimizes the risk of injury from airbag deployment for the driver and front passenger. An anti-lock braking system comes standard to detect and manage potentially dangerous wheel lock-ups during hard braking to maintain directional stability and bring the 6,190 kg vehicle to a controlled stop. Stopping the vehicle are front disc brakes that provide better stopping power than drum brakes, these brakes also come with an auto-adjuster and pad wear indicators.
The Country New Breeze’s beating heart is a turbocharged CRDI diesel engine that pumps out a healthy 138 hp at 2,300 rpm, and a maximum torque figure of 373 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm. The CRDI diesel engine is designed by Hyundai to provide reliable power and precise diesel combustion for a fuel-efficient and eco-friendly journey,
