Online shopping keeps getting bigger, and delivery companies need to keep up. J&T Express Vietnam is doing just that by adding 72 JMC trucks to their fleet. JMC, working with DOTHANH AUTO CORPORATION (DAC), handed over 72 light trucks to J&T Express Vietnam in November.
The delivery included 42 Carrying Plus units and 30 Conquer models, both designed to meet the logistics needs of J&T Express. DAC, which has partnered with JMC in Vietnam since 2017, handles the import, assembly, and distribution of these vehicles. With more than 10,000 JMC units exported to Vietnam by 2023, the brand has established a strong foothold, maintaining the top spot among Chinese light truck brands for five consecutive months.
J&T Express, which operates in 12 countries, including the Philippines, concentrates on efficient and reliable delivery services for the growing e-commerce market. Meanwhile, the Carrying Plus model of JMC is built for urban deliveries, offering good fuel economy and easy handling in traffic. Meanwhile, the Conquer model is made for longer distances, with extended cargo space and improved power for intercity routes. These features make JMC trucks a practical choice for J&T’s operations.
The partnership between JMC and J&T Express in Vietnam shows a successful model that could be mirrored in the Philippines. Both companies are active in the country, making it a potential area for similar collaborations to improve logistics capabilities. JMC’s trucks are already known for their good quality, and this delivery reinforces their role in supporting efficient transportation solutions.
