Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI) have recently partnered to provide transportation for MICECON 2024, the biggest tourism professional gathering in the region.
The collaboration was officially sealed and celebrated on June 13 at the FMPI plant located in Clark Freeport Zone.
CDC President and CEO, Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, and FMPI General Manager, Levy Santos, finalized the agreement. The signing event was attended by officials including Atty. Pablo De Borja and Vice President Noelle Mina Meneses from CDC, along with Gao Jianting from Foton International.
“This collaboration echoes CDC’s commitment as we formulate our Clark Green Code to uphold ecological balance and promote business interdependence, championing local products among Clark locators."
The founders and incorporators of FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) were convinced to bring the brand to the shores of the Philippine automotive market in the year 2006. Just 10 years after, FMPI became a registered locator in the Clark Freeport Zone with a 50-year lease agreement with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) engaging in the automotive and truck industry.
Under the new agreement, FMPI will provide a fleet of 20 vehicles, including 16-seater and 19-seater vans, to facilitate smooth transportation for all delegates throughout the conference.
With such a successful collaboration, it looks like Foton will keep wowing customers with its quality commercial vehicles. The partnership is likely to set Foton up for more success and improve its success in providing reliable commercial vehicles.
