Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) recently handed over 186 Hino 200 Series Multi-Purpose Rescue Vehicles to local government units (LGUs) in Batangas. The event, held at the Batangas Provincial Capitol, is an improvement in the province's emergency response capabilities.
These vehicles will be used in emergencies and calamities, as well as in community transport services in the area.As reported by Business Mirror, the Governor of Batangas, Hermilando I. Mandanas, expressed his gratitude to Hino Motors and Hino Batangas, the local dealership, for their support in this project. Vicente Mills, Jr., Chairman of HMP, also mentioned the company's obligation to offer high-quality vehicles suited for Batangas' emergency response needs. He gave an assurance that Hino's vehicles would perform well, especially in situations where quick action is needed for people's safety.
"We are truly proud to be chosen by the Provincial Government of Batangas for this requirement. We understand that when people's lives and safety are at stake, one can never be complacent. Trust that we will deliver the Hino quality, performance and Total Support we have always been known for."
The Hino 200 Series is powered by the Toyota 1GD-FTV engine, giving a power output of 144 PS and a torque of 300 Nm, which makes the truck ideal for driving through narrow roads in barangays while maintaining its ability to carry loads and tow efficiently under challenging situations. Each of these rescue trucks comes with emergency tools such as an oxygen tank, a blood pressure apparatus, a foldable bed, and a two-way radio, so rest assured that the vehicles are prepared for various emergency situations.
