To comply with the government's PUV Modernization Program, Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) released the Hino Eco PUV Class II and III. This shows the Japanese brand's commitment to improving its vehicles to provide the passenger's safety and comfort.
The PUV Class II is a four-wheeled vehicle that can seat up to 19 passengers and an additional 7 people for standing. As for the six-wheeler PUV Class III, it can accommodate 23 passengers and the driver. These vehicles are both certified by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and Philippine National Standards (PNS).
Moving inside, the Eco PUV Class II comes with perimeter seating with foam cushion and backrest, while the Eco PUV Class III features fixed reclined seats with a full backrest for a more comfortable ride. With 4.0-liter engines, both PUVs can deliver a maximum output of 136hp and 390 Nm of torque.
