Scania CITYWIDE
The Scania Citywide is a range of city buses designed to traverse urban areas with efficiency and comfort. With the Citywide platform, Scania promises vehicles with a high passenger capacity, low fuel consumption, and low life-cycle cost.
Built for the best performance for in-city passengers, the model is designed with a flexible layout to accommodate both sitting and standing passengers. The bus is available in three lengths, 10.9 meters, 12.0 meters, and 18.0 meters. Longer chassis allows for more passenger space.
Scania Philippines offers three models in its Citywide lineup. These include the Citywide LE, Citywide LF, and Citywide LE Suburban. The buses are available with a selection of powertrain options, including engines that run on biogas, bioethanol, HVO, diesel, and biodiesel. Engines available for the model include either a 7-liter or 9-liter turbo-diesel engine that outputs between 250 to 320 hp and 1,100 to 1,600 Nm of torque, respectively.
Scania also keeps safety in mind and it has equipped the Citywide models with Disc brakes, an electronic brake system, Scania Opticruise, Scania Retarder, Scania Tyre Pressure Monitoring, and Alcolock.
