Scania TOURING
For long-distance tours and journeys, Scania’s Touring bus makes perfect sense for operations that require comfort while traversing big distances.
A total of three lengths are available for the lineup, 12.1, 12.9, and 13.7 meters. The 12.1 model features seating for up to 51 passengers, the 12.9-meter model seats 55 passengers, and the 13.7-meter model features up to 59 seats.
Powering the Touring bus is a range of engines that go from 9 liters all the way to 13 liters. The model is fed with diesel, and the range can feature a horsepower output that ranges between 360 hp to 460 hp. Torque figures for the model range from 1,700 Nm to 2,250 Nm.
As for its interior, the Touring line features ergonomic seating for all its passengers, and Scania offers multiple packages with upholstery options to personalize the look of the seats and to further enhance passenger comfort for the journey. For the driver to remain safe on the road, Scania has equipped the Touring range with a set of disc brakes, an electronic brake system, and as well as Scania’s suite of drive assist functions which include Opticruise, Returner, Tyre Pressure Monitoring, and Alcolock.
