As part of the cargo-oriented lineup of Dongfeng in the Philippines, the KR Cargo Truck model comes with a sleeper cab and comes in a 6-wheeler layout. It is initially available as a cab and chassis model, but can later be customized to fit the needs of the customer. It measures 9,995 mm in length, 2,500 mm in width, 3,560 mm in height, a wheelbase of 5,600mm, and a minimum ground clearance of 240mm.
Like the rest of the KR range, this cargo truck is also known for its efficiency and reliability. This is all thanks to its 5.9-liter Cummins engine that produces 190 hp and 670 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed manual transmission.
As for convenience features, this particular variant comes with adjustable seats, a large windshield, bright headlights for optimized visibility at night, a well-laid-out instrument cluster, and a Beidou navigation satellite system that is compatible with GPS.
The Dongfeng KR Cargo Truck can be had in 4 rear body configurations. First, if the dropside is perfect for loading up heavy construction materials, equipment, and even machinery all thanks to its durable bed.
As for those who need a truck that can transport a heavy volume of goods then the aluminum van is the best choice for you. The winged van, on the other hand, is suitable for shipments and large-scale deliveries.
Lastly, for those who want a customized rear body, the Dongfeng KR Cargo Truck can be had with a plain cab and chassis layout.
