Dongfeng Modern PUV Mini Bus Overview

Aside from its lineup of trucks, Dongfeng Philippines also offers a Mini Bus as part of its local lineup. It is the brand’s answer to the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization program as it offers a more environmentally friendly engine, as well as features that help provide a safe and comfortable ride for commuters. It can be had with two variants with each one belonging to a different vehicle class.

At the heart of this PUV is a 3.7- liter 4-cylinder, turbocharged common-rail OHV diesel engine that also comes with an intercooler. This Euro IV-compliant powertrain can deliver a maximum output of 148 hp and 500 Nm of torque, coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission.

As for the suspension setup, the Mini Bus is equipped with semi-elliptic alloy steel leaf springs with a hydraulic double-acting telescopic shock absorber. When it comes to stopping power, it features full dual-circuit air brakes.

Other essential features include power steering, power window, electric clock, a standard air conditioning system, and an audio unit with MP3 for added convenience and entertainment.
