The Foton TM300 Harabas is Foton’s contender in the light commercial vehicle segment. Compact and powered by a robust 2.2-liter diesel engine, the TM300 Harabas is designed to be a dependable cargo hauler for Filipino businesses.
Inspired by the Foton Gratour van lineup, the TM300 Harabas incorporates the van's distinctive headlights and grille, along with daytime-running lights for improved pedestrian visibility.
Launched in the Philippine market in August 2020, the Foton Gratour TM300 Harabas comes in three variants, all featuring the same cab interior and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. It is available as a dropside truck, F-Van, Wingvan, or MPV. Upon its debut, the vehicle was offered with perks such as free 3-year LTO registration, one year of comprehensive insurance, and coverage of the chattel mortgage fee.
The Foton Gratour TM300 Harabas is built on a cab and chassis platform, renowned for its versatility as a commercial vehicle. It’s equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces 87 hp and 220 Nm of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
In terms of safety, the TM300 features a collision energy-absorbing buffer structure and a collapsible, energy-absorbing steering column. The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) ensures smooth and effective braking.
As a practical, function-first commercial vehicle, the Foton TM300 Harabas includes essential features like adjustable seats, a 1-DIN head unit with AM/FM radio and USB/Aux connectivity, and manual air-conditioning. It also offers added conveniences such as power windows, power door locks, and a keyless entry system with an alarm—amenities that are uncommon in most commercial vehicles today.
The interior of the Foton Gratour TM300 is utilitarian yet comfortable, with durable materials used throughout. The driver's compartment is particularly spacious, offering enhanced elbow room, legroom, and headroom for greater comfort during long drives. The vehicle also includes a modern, ergonomic dashboard with intuitive controls and ten storage spaces, enhancing its practicality.
