Hyundai Big Bus

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc (HARI). has been appointed as the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines since August 2001. Aside from its line of cars, SUVs, and other family vehicles, the brand also sells commercial vehicles that build up a portfolio of light and heavy-duty trucks to Buses. The brand earned its rightful spot as the third top player in the Philippine automotive industry. Notably, Hyundai Motor Philippines sold over 37,678 vehicles in 2017, accounting for a 7.95% share in the market, grabbing the third rank in the local automotive industry.

Hyundai was founded in 1946 by Chung Ju-Yung, who actually started out the company as an engineering construction firm which later on switched to manufacturing cars by 1967. Hyundai Motor Company began selling trucks and buses back in 1969. As time passed the brand was able to develop a range of new commercial vehicles from 1977 to 1979. Fast forward to 1995 and the brand founded its Jeonju Plant to begin production.
